COURSE OBJECTIVES
• The objective of the course is to train and qualify machinery safety experts in accordance with Machinery Regulation (EU) 2023/1230. The four-day course provides an overview of the CE marking, the contents of the Machinery Regulation, and the main relevant harmonized standards.
• At the end of the course, participants will have to take an exam issued by CEPAS, legal entity of Bureau Veritas Holding. The examination will include registration in the public registry on CEPAS website among certified professionals.

DAY 1 (machinery directive)
• The CE marking in EU, New legislative framework (Regulation (EC) 765/2008, Decision 768/2008, Regulation (EU) 2019/1020, blue guide)
• Directives and Regulations related to CE marching for machinery (Overview of Directive and Regulations for specific products)
• Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC

COURSE PREREQUISITES
Basic knowledge of the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC and related harmonized standards
CERTIFICATE
• Bureau Veritas Certificate of Attendance
• CEPAS Certificate of Competence as “Machinery Safety Expert”
REGISTRATION
• Registration fee: Single participant: 1.300€ + VAT
• If the company registers multiple participants, the fee is discounted by:
15% for registration of at least 2 participants
20% for registration of at least 3 participants
25% for registration of at least 4 participants
• Bureau Veritas Italia reserves the right to cancel the course if the minimum number of participants is not reached.
