The success of audits requires competent professionals with a strong knowledge of the standard and the ability to effectively plan and conduct activities that add value to all interested parties.

Bureau Veritas Italia, a Certification and Inspection Body and a world leader in Quality, Health & Safety, Environment, and Social Responsibility, offers a training course for Auditors and Lead Auditors of Quality Management Systems.

Designed for professionals wishing to pursue a career as Auditor/Lead Auditor, successful completion of this course is a mandatory requirement to begin an auditor career path. The course is also ideal for the qualification of Internal Auditors in complex organizations and for personnel involved in supplier evaluation.

The course is modular, and participants may attend either the full course or the second module only. 

DURATION
• FULL COURSE - 40 hours 
• 2° MODULE - 24 hours
• Access to the second module is possible only if the participant already holds a qualified 40-hour course certificate under another scheme, or a qualified 16-hour certificate in audit techniques.

CERTIFICATES
• Final written and oral examination.
• Participants will receive either a Bureau Veritas Certificate of Attendance or, upon passing both the written and oral examination, a Bureau Veritas / CEPAS Certificate of Successful Completion.

OBJECTIVES
• Conduct audits according to ISO 9001:2015 requirements.
• Understand the key elements of ISO 19011 and ISO/IEC 17021 standards.
• Understand fundamental quality management concepts.
• Plan audits based on established audit criteria.
• Successfully conduct audits of Quality Management Systems.
• Prepare clear, concise, and relevant audit reports.
• Communicate audit results effectively to clients.

COURSE CONTENT
The first two days are about the ISO 19011:2026 standard (first module), and the other 3 days are about the ISO 9001:2015 standard (second module)

• Performance evaluation and improvement.
• Accreditation process.
• Auditor competence (ISO 19011).
• Practical exercises and feedback sessions.
• Role-playing activities.

TARGET AUDIENCE
• Professionals wishing to pursue a career as Auditor/Lead Auditor, as well as complex organizations seeking to qualify internal auditors and supplier assessment specialists.

PREREQUISITES
• Upper secondary school diploma.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 requirements, acquired through a QMS fundamentals course or an equivalent training program.

REGISTRATION FEES
• Full 40 hours course: Single participant: €1.400 + VAT
• Second module only (24 hours): Single participant: €1.050 + VAT
